Plus a special treat Judah Wolf who Has been diving for over 20 plus years join us. We also had a open water student doing his very first Dives with us today as well. We saw lots of eels from baby’s to full grown adults. of course the best dive staff in Hawaii Nikole, Mike, Perry and Capt Matt.
LCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU and AnGlErS
Well it was out on the Sea Fox for an adventurous day on the ocean. We had Marcus from Austria who dove yesterday out on the boat with us along with Kristieanne from Japan who is campaining for a job and I think we should hire her, she was very nice and good in the water. Also Paul from the UK and Karin our resident swiss diver who has been diving with us for the last 3 weeks. Talk about an international boat. Too bad it was only an American crew with Matt and me.
LCU had good vis but a rough surface, good thing it was nice underwater. Eagle Rays were swimming around and so were the fish, but no turtles or sharks which is what Kristieanne had asked for, sorry maybe Monday when your back on the boat.
Dive two was a little too rough to dive the wall so we headed to Anglers Reef and drifted the ledge, it was good with nice vis a swift current and we drifted part of the reef I had not seen before. There was this large tako, and several big eels and several more smaller ones. But it’s always fun exploring a new area.
Dive easy, dive Hawaii.

Corsair again in the Afternoon, what’s going on?
It is truely amazing how things can change in the matter of 30 min. When I got to the dive shop this afternoon I was suppose to be taking one guy out diving off the boat to work towards his open water cert, well things didn’t quite work out that way, he wasn’t able to make the boat and 3 certified divers walked into the dive shop wanting to go diving, so we went diving. We hopped in at the Corsair and had a pretty stiff current but everyone made it down the line and enjoyed the wreck. I spend 15 minutes looking in the engine compartment, it’s amazing what the engine looks like after 60 years.
For dive two we headed over to spitting caves and had great vis and found so many cool things. We had a monk seal hanging out with us for a while who got very interested when I took out my surface marker to fly for the captain. A couple of caves over we found a small baby shark getting it’s teeth cleaned by some cleaner shrimp, then towards the end of the dive I so thought we were going to see whales, they were so loud, but we didn’t, we just listened to them. But it was a fun day out diving and I was very glad we were able to hit these awesome dive sites.
Dive easy, dive Hawaii.
