PADI Bubblemaker for Kids and Youths
Kids - bring your parents scuba diving! For young adventurers like you, the PADI Bubblemaker program is an introduction to the thrill of breathing underwater.
If you're eight or nine years of age, now is your chance to take the plunge with a PADI Instructor and experience scuba diving in a pool. The Bubblemaker program is held every Saturday between 10 am to noon. Ages 8 and up.

Medical Clearance Form
For any kind of scuba diving training, such as Discover Scuba Diving or a scuba certification course, the student will first need to be medically cleared. If the student is able to answer "No" to all questions on the form, then they will not be required to have a physicians' signature for diving. A "Yes" answer on this form means that the student should take the entire packet to a physician for a medical approval to engage in scuba diving activities. Please review this medical questionnaire in time to get the required clearance if necessary. To save time, we advise that you print it, fill it out and bring it with you prior to your dive.

PADI Open Water Diver
Grab the ticket to dive anywhere in the world with this basic PADI Oahu Scuba Diving Course. We have several different options to choose from so that you can tailor the course after your schedule. Successfully completing the class will allow you to go scuba diving and rent equipment anywhere in the world.
- $495 all inclusive 3 day class, start anytime. All boat dives and days need not be consecutive.
- $175 one week class plus books and snorkeling package, Monday thru Friday evenings and Sat, Sun mornings

PADI Adventure Dives
Make your Oahu scuba dive charters educational and work your way up to an Advanced Open Water certification! Adventure Dives allow you to improve your skills under the guidance of an instructor. If you aren't sure you have the experience and knowledge to dive to 100 ft this option allows you get that experience while enjoying a regular Oahu boat charter. Apart from Deep Dive you can also do Navigation, Drift, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and many more. When you have successfully completed 5 Adventure Dives (Deep and Navigation mandatory) you'll be rewarded with the Advanced Open Water certification (you do not have to complete all 5 dives with the same dive school).

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Five adventure dives under the direct supervision of the instructor. Our favorites are Deep, Drift, Boat and Wreck, and of course the required - and useful - Navigation. Price is $399 and is all inclusive, two boat charters, all gear rental, books, instruction, certification fees. An Advanced Class requires 5 dives, which we can complete on 2 charters. However, for just $60, add an additional boat charter and do your dives over 3 two tank charter over 2-3 days. As each dive in an Advanced Open Water Course counts towards Dive One of the corresponding specialty, you may be able to finish a specialty course on your sixth dive (if you so wish, we will provide you a prorated discount on that course).

PADI Rescue DiverThis course builds diving confidence by focusing on the safety of other divers. Typically the class meets one week nights and diving occurs on weekend. Total price, including all equipment, books, instruction, certification fee, one day of beach diving, and one day of boat diving is $295 plus $120 paid directly to PADI for the eLearning portion of the course. Sign up for the eLearning portion of the course below. Proof of current (within 12 months) CPR and First Aid training is required. Our Emergency First Response class (see below) is recommended to meet the requirements.

PADI Emergency First Response Emergency First Response (EFR) is an innovative CPR/first aid program. Primary Care (CPR) prepares you to render aid to those with life-threatening emergencies. Secondary Care (first aid) builds upon the lessons of Primary Care and helps you assist those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable. It is a great course for everyone, divers or non-divers. The cost is $125 and includes required books.
Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organization. Dedicated to training the lay rescuer, EFR courses encompasses adult, child and infant CPR skills, provides AED and First Aid training, and feature an outstanding First Aid at Work component. The company’s award-winning programs and state-of-the-art training materials make it a favorite among divers around the world.
Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. However, most have also found the EFR program to be important in every day life. They have taken a significant step in emergency preparedness, and feel confident that they can provide care should an emergency situation arise.
The Emergency First Response program meets requirements for CPR and First Aid in the workplace (OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.151), and incorporates the latest procedures for emergency patient care. Other organizations that recognize EFR as meeting their requirements are United States Coast Guard, The Boy Scouts of America, and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), to name a few.

Master Scuba Diver
Master Scuba Diver is the highest level of recreational diving. To obtain this recognition the diver must specialize in at least five types of diving. Certain specializations, such as Enriched Air Nitrox and Wreck Diver, allow the diver to participate in activities that are otherwise beyond their training, such as diving nitrox air mixtures and penetrating wrecks.The requirements for Master Scuba Diver are:

- 50 logged Dives

PADI Divemaster
Divemaster is the first level of professional scuba certification. Get your PADI Divemaster Certification in the crystal blue waters of Oahu with Island Divers Hawaii and join the ranks of well-respected elite scubq divers worldwide.Costs & Prerequisites
Course tuition is $600, plus $250 Divemaster book Crewpak and $200 PADI eLearning requirement (see below). $100 Dive theory online is optional.
Requirements for Divemaster Training:
- 18 years old
- PADI medical statement signed by physican
- EFR certification or equivalent
- PADI rescue course
- 40 logged dives
- Must own a full set of personal dive equipment
Island Divers Hawaii provides free boats dives during your training, a significant perk and one of the best reasons to chose Island Divers Hawaii for your Divemaster training. Flexibility Built In
The program described above may not be suitable for all schedules. For tighter time frames, we can complete the course in as little as 10 days. In this case you will be assigned a single experienced instructor that will include you in their normal diving workload (modified to meet your training requirements) for practical experience and complete the required confined water and academic training around the diving schedule. The tuition for this private Divemaster course is $1200 plus books and online training.
