2pm to 5pm – meet trip leaders Matt and Sheila on the Dive Barge at the Hawaii Kai shop.

0730 am Sunday Oct 12th – 3 tanker club dive (Rabbit Island, Skimmons Ledge, and Palea Point if the wind allows (some of Matt’s favorite’s)), $120

When: 5:00 pm

Why:  learn about our favorite destination in Fiji and ask questions directly to the resort manager Simon who is in town!

Who: whomever wants to come

Bring: your favorite beverage, if you RSVP we will have burgers and dogs for you!

The real reason for the party is “we don’t need a reason”.  Mostly it will be people who have gone on past trips and people that think they might want to go on future trips.  But really if you just want to come to a non diving club event to meet some more local divers, this is your chance.

For those that are actually thinking about coming on a trip, what you are going to get out of this event is “do I really want to travel with these people”.  However, there will be some actual information about the upcoming trips.  Those trips have full details on this page: International Dive Travel.  That page is found on the Island Divers website.

this trip is unescorted, but ask us about our May 2025 trip – it was fantastic

Dive 3 different ports: Cozumel, Roatan, and Costa Maya from a Jan 10th cruise ship from Galveston TX 2026

Matt and Sheila will be on hand for you to ask about this – we’ve done it before and like it for mixed family groups that have non divers – great one to take the grandparents on!

March 30th to April 5th 2026 Fiji trip to Voli Voli

you’ll be ready to sign up after the presentation – deposits are $500

Turks and Caicos Liveaboard April 25th to May 2nd

Epic Pacific Adventure Tour – New Zealand, Vanuatu, Fiji – Mar 20th to April 4th 2027

this trip includes a visit to Voli Voli.  We are pretty excited about this one.

The other thing that is going to happen at this party is I’m going listen to the people that show up about where they want to go.  Specifically, where they want Sheila and I to plan a trip so that you’ll have a group of people to go with.  We like traveling in a group, we get it.  If the only reason you come to this social is to meet some of the people that you might travel with, that is a good reason.

Some of our trips that we “dreamed about” at the last party have been planned.  Galapagos, Cocos, Fakarava Tahiti, Socorro, help me build the list for the future.

Don’t worrry if you can’t make Coz, Palau, Fiji, Bonaire, Honduras – these are on the instant replay list.  2 to 3 years make before we go back to those.
