SPITTING CAVE IN REVERSE !!
wow, another beautiful pair of dives this morning! weather was warm and sunny, and the skies and ocean were blue, blue, blue. old friend chris from San Fran is out doing his Advanced Open, with friend Jen. also coming along were dive-crazy Logan, just certified, and in love with the ocean! plus josh (HSU DMC), Fuji, and Sushi, visiting from Nippon. we went to baby barge, and conditions were excellent. great viz, allowing us to see a pair of eagle rays cruising at 80 feet as we descended down and visited the shark cave and then up the ledge to the wreck. lots of eels, and fish, plus a baby octopus. 2nd jump was a reverse drift of spitting cave, with the drop-off point out at a turtle cleaning station that is well west of the wall. we only do this dive with very specific conditions, and today they were good enough for us to do this spectacular dive, getting lots of time in before hitting the green wall. so many turtles!!! crazy!! also frogfish, big eels, scorpion fish, and tons of healthy coral! thanks to all for safe diving!! larry and capt. joe
