2 DAY ADVANCED COURSE $649
The Advanced Adventurer course consists of 5 dives. Each dive corresponds to Dive 1 of a Specialty Diver program. While there is flexibility in which dives can be performed to complete the certification course we recommend the following for diving in Hawaii: Wreck, Deep, Tides, and Currents (Drift), Navigation, and Buoyancy. Many choose to add a Nitrox Certification to their Advanced course as one of their specialty dives.
These required five scuba dives can be completed on two charters, (one 2 Tank Charter and a Friday or Sunday 3 Tank Charter), at our Hawaii dive shops. However, you can choose 3 two-tank boat charters and space your scuba school lessons out over 3 days (same price).
In the SSI diver progression system, after Advanced Adventurer it is quite easy to earn Specialty certifications. Just complete Dive 2 of the Specialty course you started in the Advanced Adventurer course. After completion of 12 logged dives and two Specialty Courses, you are automatically recognized as a Specialty Diver. Please inquire if you like to take an extra day of diving and complete 2 Specialty courses and expanded on your diving education.
This course is available any two days (or three) that a guest is available to dive and may be the best choice for island visitors.
