Bob’s 80th Birthday Party
Printed invitations may or may not be forthcoming, but son Matt Zimmerman is putting together this web page to help you book rooms at the hotel where the party will be held. FYI, I’m putting it on my business website, but you can only get here if someone sent you the link. That means you’re invited. Everybody that wants to come is invited really.

Come and go as you like, even if it is just to stop by for a few minutes to say Happy Birthday
Many people will be staying that night in the hotel that the party is in. We’ll start gathering at 3pm. There will be a meal served at 6pm ish, Texas BBQ buffet style is the current plan. We are kicked out of the party room at midnight. Alcohol will be served.
For many of us, this will be a 9 hour party, but don’t feel obligated to show up at any particular time, whatever suits you. And leave whenever you like of course.

Theme
A Taste of Bob’s Good Life
In addition to the wine and beer that will be served at the party (get a hotel room people!) there will be a “tasting room” theme. Possibly some of Bob’s home brew, some favorite whiskeys and wines, Minnesota hot dishes, and Bob’s favorite cookies.
Reservations at the Hotel
We have a room block at the hotel reserved. The rates are $90 a night for a king and $95 a night for 2 queens. The night of the 7th is highly recommended even if you are local. Come early, stay late, enjoy the party.
The rates are available from Jan 1st to Jan 14th.

Out of town guest events
If you are coming in from out of town there is going to be a Zimmerman Christmas party the next day at Bob and Kath’s place about 20 minutes away from the hotel. And also a brunch on Sunday. If you are coming earlier or staying later just get in touch with them so they know your plans, I’m sure there will be people that want to make is a party week.
