Open Water Scuba Diver

Open Water Certification

Becoming a scuba diver with our beginner scuba diving lessons! This is the first step in a journey that will forever change the way you look at the underwater world.  You will explore a weightless underwater world, observe incredible marine life and discover the fragile ecosystem below the surface.

Learning to dive is much easier than you think! The digital materials will help prepare you for this first taste of a great underwater experience from the comfort of your own home.

If you want to dive anywhere, with other certified divers, the Open Water Diver program is your international certification to be part of an exclusive group that most people only dream about joining.

We Have Different Scuba Diving Lessons to fit Your Schedule

Day 1- Review your self-guided online learning along with a morning pool session where you will begin to learn the basic skills of scuba diving. You will then jump on the afternoon 2 tank shallow reef charter to complete the first session of your open water training dives.

Days 2 – Again you will meet in the morning to complete the confined water training of the course, then on to finish your last two open ocean dives. Successfully completing the scuba diving lessons will allow you to go scuba diving and rent equipment anywhere in the world.

Island Visitors choice – Since this two days can be any two days of your choosing (not necessarily consecutive) this is the most popular choice for visitors to our island.  However, it is open to all.

Pricing Note – it is very common for new divers to be comparing many websites for scuba course prices.  Note that our scuba certification price is all inclusive.  There is no extra charge for rentals, log books, digital learning, etc.  Some competitors are not so clear on additional fees.  Our price is as listed plus Hawaii tax.  If our competition doesn’t state that clearly, you should ask.

10-11 year olds: $895 ratio of student to instructor changes to 2:1

Day 1 – begins early in the morning on day one the open water diver final exam. You will then complete a few hours of confined water training and then on to the 2 tank afternoon shallow reef dive.

Day 2 – you will begin the morning with your final confined water session of scuba diving training and again onto the afternoon dive charter to complete the last two open water scuba diving training dives.
