Snorkel with Mermaids tour arrival and preparation
Guests should arrive about 30 minutes prior to departure time as the boat leaves promptly. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the crew and fitted for your gear. After a safety briefing from the captain, sit back and enjoy a 20-minute ride to the snorkeling site. Enjoy the beautiful views of Koko and Diamond Head while you get to know the mermaid and the crew!
Can I snorkel if I don’t swim?
Yes. We provide a couple of large jet ski rescue floats to hold onto. These floats, powered by underwater scooters, will help you get around the snorkeling site. Of course, you will also be wearing a snorkeling vest so that you stay afloat even without the rescue float. Of course, you also have the option of booking as a non-snorkeling observer, with plenty of photo opportunities on the boat.
Underwater scooter-powered tour
The guide has an underwater scooter that powers a large flotation device with quite a few handles for less experienced people who may want to hold on for comfort. It also assists people in getting to different parts of the large underwater area. For the more experienced, it is still fun to take a turn! Different people will have different amounts of time they will want to spend in the water. You will have approximately one and a half hours to explore.
