The team at Island Divers Hawaii along with sister companies Honolulu Scuba Company and Oahu Dolphin Divers make these videos. Sometimes it is a full length 3 to 4 minute production of the entire dive complete with drone footage. Sometimes the videos are just from the dive guides camera when the catch something really cool they want to share. What they have in common is that they are all from scuba diving on Oahu.

Make your own Oahu Scuba Diving videos!
We have cameras with video capability for rent if you’d like to get make a video a try. It is easy to press play on a go pro and get some clips, you will find however that it is a little harder than it sounds! Solid diving skills are the most important factor, as control of buoyancy and breathing directly contribute to your ability to hold the camera steady while filming. The next important factor is dealing with the red light that is filtered out in deeper water. Color correction filters or white balancing helps with this. Post-processing white balancing works as well, with a little more effort and some better computer programs. If you would like to hire a photo video underwater expert for the day you can. The charge is $4oo. One Sea Life camera will be provided to you or your group, the expert will bring there own and dive with you (or group) for both dives. After the dives, you will spend 3-4 hours in post-processing on the images and video you capture. You leave with the final product – edited images and a video. If you just want the expert to take photos and videos of you and skip the post-processing lesson you can.
