NO WIND, NO RAIN ! 4 january
epic three tanker today, as surface conditions were perfect for heading around the corner and diving those spectacular drifts on the wall! first stop is everyone’s favorite, Sea Cave! great group of good divers today, as we dropped down and grouped up outside the cave, and then headed inside, spotting a huge green sea turtle heading out. he cruised right over us, and into the blue! back in the cave we found whitetip sharks, who seem to like hanging in the sand patch at the back of the cave. the usual school of needle nose fish above us as we enjoyed the light and shadow in the cave. 2nd jump was over at Skimmins reef, and it was a blast. the wall off of sandy beach is home to turtles, octopus, large schools of reef fish, and beautiful coral! mellow and beautiful! dive three was spitting cave, another big favorite, with beautiful topography of canyons and caves, plus a turtle cleaning station, some nice frog fish, scorpion fish, and a host of various reef fish! beautiful day of diving! thanks to all for safe diving, larry, max, joe
