Sunshine, Rainbows, and Scuba Diving!

Today was a beautiful day out on the water here in Oahu! We had two students on the boat working towards their Open Water Certification and five certified divers all out to have a fun time. The first dive site we went to was Hawaii Loa. As we jumped in and descended to the bottom at about 35 feet we were greeted by a green sea turtle! We also saw porcupine fish, a school of moorish idols and sargent majors. After a 40 minute dive swimming with the fishies we headed back up onto the boat and over to our second dive site.

The second dive site we went to was Anglers Reef. The maximum depth on the bottom of the ledge is about 45 feet. We saw quite a few different types of moray eels, trumpet fish, and a school of trigger fish. The water was nice and clear and the divers were happy. After another 40 minute dive we headed back into the bay with the sun shinning and a lovely rainbow guiding our way back in. Overall it was an excellent both on and under the water.
