SCUBA DIVING SPITTING CAVE !! 27 dec

Spitting cave was our third dive today, and it was a fitting climax to a spectacular day of diving. we began our scuba journey by mooring up the Sea Fox to the Kahala Barge.  at 90 feet in the sand, it is a wreck made for swimming through, with large rectangles cut in the deck for light and entrance, giving us excellent visibility within the old barge.  Except for the black room!  which is a blast to see, and that you can only do with a flashlight.  this room often houses various creatures, including sharks, large jacks (ulua in hawaiin), turtles, as well as various mollusks and huge crabs!  our 2nd dive was Fantasy Reef, and we saw over 10 large green Hawaiin sea turtles.  they love this spot, as the volcanic topography of overhangs, caves, and swim-throughs, offers multiple hiding spots for these resting creatures!  3rd dive was a drift of Spitting Cave, a spectacular wall, which wows divers from all over the world.  other-worldly topography of canyons and caves, marine life from tiny to huge, including monk seals, rays, sharks, turtles, frog fish, octopus, and large shoals of reef fish create mind blowing tour along this incredible wall.  thanks to all for safe diving,  larry, mary, kendal
