Rainbows and Crystal Clear Waters

Friday morning was a gorgeous day on the water in Oahu! With a bright rainbow hanging over the island to start the morning I knew it was going to be a good one. The first dive site we headed to was LCU. With visibility of 150+ feet we couldn’t wait to get in the water. Swimming around the upside-down landing craft we were greeted by 9 spotted eagle rays! 9! So awesome! A sea turtle also cruised by to say hello. We found a couple big moray eels underneath the cement blocks surrounding the wreck. After a nice 30 minute dive to 85 feet we headed back up to the boat. For second dive we headed over to the wall to do Sea Cave! An amazing dive site with a big cave that you can swim in and around before drifting along the wall. Residents inside the cave this particular day included a couple sea turtles, many many many nudibranches, and a white tip reef shark! We spotted a couple more moray eels along the wall while drifting before headed back up. Over all it was an awesome day of diving with great conditions and a fun group of divers. Hope to see everyone back again soon!
