Wonderful Thursday Morning Dives

Today was a gorgeous day out on the boat. It may have been a little bumpy on the surface but it was absolutely beautiful underneath. The first dive site we went to this morning was LCU. As we were first making our way down the mooring line to bottom at 90 feet we were greeted by 6 spotted eagles! 6 of them! They circled around the wreck throughout our entire 30 minute dive. We also found a white tip reef shark underneath the LCU today. A couple eels around the wreck and giant school of barracuda. The visibility was 100+ feet, crystal clear blue waters. The second dive site we went to today was Fantasy Reef. We saw at least 10 different turtles at fantasy today. Don’t you just love those guys! So relaxed, the turtles are always just napping away. We also found an octopus at fantasy today. Quite a few more moray eels and three different types of nudibranches. The blue dragon nudibranch, the imperial nudibranch, and the pustulose nudibranch. All beautiful little creatures. After a nice 50 minute drift along our 50 foot reef we headed back up to the boat and made our way back to the dock. An awesome day of diving with some awesome new dive buddies. Special congratulations to Adrian for completing his Nitrox certification today! Hope to see you all on the boat again soon! Aloha!
