GREEN HEADS IN BLUE WATER!! 04/08/2014

Wow, such nice diving today!    Some big waves on the surface, but crystal clear blue water below!  Captain Kendal handled the boat and the waves, and we divers handled that clear blue water by jumping in and checking out the Corsair airplane wreck.  lots of garden eels were peeking out of their holes, schools of yellow fusiliers around, and big eyes and a big old filefish hanging inside the wreck.  besides nice diving, we had some great divers today, locals Mike and daughter Laura (two of our favorite divers!), and Chris and Chris!  Chris #1 was from Alberta, and had recently dove a lake where the ice was 22 inches thick, and air temps were 20 below.  After the dive his drysuit froze on him while he was walking to his car!  haha, not for me, no thank you! I’ll take my ice in a glass!  Chris #2 had a great camera, Nikon 300, and a pro setup.  looking forward to seeing those photos!  2nd jump was a drift of Spitting Caves, with turtles, large and small, several whitetip sharks, 3 frogfish (check out the closeup below!), loads of reef fish, plus several huge eels, including some awesome looking green head morays!  thanks to all for a fun and safe adventure,  larry
