April 9, 2014 – I love my Oahu scuba diving job

I love my job. My day started out with the dive roster white board crashing into my head and knocking my half finished smoothie down my leg. Where’s the dog when you need it?
I swung into town to pick up our youngest, new, avid diver, Simon.  See photo below.
The SeaFox, with aid from Captain Joe, whipped us out to Koko Craters where I ran into a rare Kangaroo Nudibranch. Named for its tail, Kangaroo Nudibranchs have a heavy, long tail which usually makes this Kangaroo Nudi larger than most other Hawaiian species.

My rock star dive buddies and I ran into two friendly junior green sea turtles at Turtle Canyon.  One turtle hung out for some time which was super special. The only thing that could have made my day and dive even better would have been a hot sun to thaw me out.

Safe Diving,

Davy
