I’m a huge Star Wars fan, that being said I like to use certain characters from the film in order to teach people how they should dive. For example, I would ask my students if they ever heard of Darth Vader. A huge amount of people have a good general idea who he is and how he sounds when he’s breathing, SO I tell my students that their goal is to impersonate Vader in order to be the ideal scuba diver, and be one with the dark side. So without a further ado I want to congratulate Claire Swogger for joining Island Divers for her first time embracing the dark side and scuba diving for her first time. Condition wise I would say they were very pleasant, sunny,a little bit windy but nothing to dramatic; under the surface visibility was a solid 40-60 feet at Anglers and Koko Craters. I would also like to thank Blanc, Jeff, Cassidy, and Michael for diving with us. Was a lot of fun and hope to see you guys again.

Anglers Reef: Depth was 40-43 ft, visibility 40-60 ft, mild current

Koko Craters: Depth 37-40ft, visibility 45-50 ft, no current.
