This can be a stand alone week in Taveuni or week 2 after Volivoli Beach resort or week 3 after Vanuatu and Volivoli.

About this trip

Paradise Taveuni is on the island of Taveuni a little over an hour by prop plane from the domestic terminal at Nadi (NAN).

This dive resort is right on the beach, with good shore diving and sunset views. There are two boat dives a day included in the morning (more can be added), and the unlimited shore diving from the pier is quite good (we did it to make sure).

There are daily enrichment activities planned, and adventures further afield around the island are available.  We did the birding tour last trip, was good, but more of a garden tour than a birding tour.  This next trip we want to try the waterfall adventure where the dive boat drops us off.

How to get there

Super easy.  Fly into Nadi Fiji (NAN) or take resort transfer back to airport.  The domestic terminal is a easy walk from international terminal.  TVU is the airport code to Taveuni, and there are multiple flights per day.  You pay by weight for bags, and pay you will, but there is not choice.  Multiple flights per day.

The flights themselves are an experience, turboprops and not all that big.  Good views, keep your camera handy.
