We did a scouting trip in 2024 and had a great group trip in 2025. Booking it again – we loved it. I think this is our new home in Roatan. There are cheaper ways to do Roatan, but I haven’t seen better!
Besides the diving, my favorite part is the fully air conditioned floor to ceiling glass windows in the dining room. Everything is order from the menu dining, and the staff serving are extremely attentive. May have got to know them better than the divemasters. Up on the hill in the bar area there are pool, hand shuffleboard, corn hole, kareoke!, and live sports TV. Great place to catch a sunset.

The major difference between a Key Deluxe and a Key Superior is whether or not the outside seating area with hammock table and chairs is shared or private. You may prefer a Key Superior if you got a click of divers (4/6/8). Deluxe are slightly larger. All the rooms are ocean view, and some of them are actually over the water. But not the kind of over-the-water where you can enter the ocean. The key has snorkeling access, but it is not from anyone’s room. There is also a shore dive from the Key during dive shop hours if you have the 20 dive package (no night diving allowed).
Just FYI there are some options here. A snorkel package with includes 2 snorkel trips a day, or a resort package with includes some island tours. There is also an option to bring children and enroll them in a dolphin training camp. I have the pricing for that if you request it.
