Current Pickup (Oct6)
More great weather for a dive aboard the Sea Hound this afternoon. We were joined by some divemaster candidates that were working on their mapping project, but other than that we had a small group of experienced divers.
At Koko’s, we dropped into some mild currents that really picked up as the dive went on. It proved to be a challenge swimming back to the boat when we turned the dive.
We did come across a lot of cool things, like this school of goatfish. Theres always such a variety of things to see at this site. It was great visibility as well.
For our second dive, we chose to drift from Anglers to Secret, since the current picked up so much. This proved to be a good choice. Divers got to enjoy a nice relaxing dive along the reef.
As usual, we came across many different kinds of eels along the ledge and were down for quite some time. I even started to get a bit chilly towards the end!
Thanks for coming out this afternoon everyone! Its great spending time with experiences divers!
