Sunday Sun, Surf, and Sea Adventure 10/5

It was an awesome Sunday dive trip today off the Sea Hound for the three tanker.  For the first dive we hit Sea Cave and had a nice time. There was a bit of a swell but good conditions underwater and a nice current along the wall.  Right as we entered into the cave we found 5 white tip reef sharks hiding inside.  We cruised along the wall with schools of milletseed butterflyfish and sergeant damselfish all around the rocks. There were also a few eels hiding about including a large zebra morey and a few white mouth moreys.

For the second dive we tied up at Kahala Barge and again it was a great dive.  There was a bit of a current but great visibility as we swam around the wreck.  The wreck is a great site with black coral growing around parts of it and colorful reef fish hiding around it. We didn’t have any large marine life cruising about but plenty of smaller reef life everywhere.

For the last dive we drifted Fantasy Reef and it was great.  There were turtles everywhere mostly resting under ledges and a few swimming about.  We also found a few more eels hiding about the reef and tons of reef fish swimming all about us.  It was a great way to spend a Sunday.
