Shark Tour of Hawaii Kai 10/7

It was an amazing morning on the Sea Hound for the advanced charter today.  There was a bit of a current today as we tried for the Corsair so we changed to the LCU for the first dive and it was a great choice.  There was great viz and we had a nice dive around the site.  There were 5 white tip reef sharks hiding out under the wreck and a large school of goatfish swimming near by.  It was a great dive but soon it was time to head to the second dive site.

For the second dive we drifted Sea Cave and again had some wonderful viz and a great dive.  As we entered the cave there were 3 white tip reef sharks hiding out.  It was a bit stirred up inside the cave so we exited and cruised along the wall.  There were reef fish everywhere with schools of milletseed butterflyfish and damsel fish swimming about the rocks.  We found a few eels and a large octopus hiding in the coral.  As we were coming to the end of the dive we found a couple sea turtle hanging out in the current. It was a truly wonderful morning.LCU
