Spooky Halloween Dive on LCU and Sea Cave 10/31
The skies were grey and a light drizzle was coming down. The perfect eerie setting for the start of our spooky halloween dives. The sea was calm and there was zero current on the LCU. The decent was super easy today and lurking under the upside down landing craft was a very big white tip reef shark. When we came out from under there were a pair of eagle rays circling about. It was an amazing dive with great viz. DMC Luke even got to do a search and recovery on a lost weight pocket!
We went to Sea Cave next and the waves were a little choppy on top. Underwater we had a great current for our drift dive after a brief time in Sea Cave. We couldn’t do the whole Cave today because the back half was whited out and safety always comes first with our divers. The drift was moving at a pretty good pace and there was plenty to see. Super morning dive for all of us!
